The MSR propane stove has a repair kit that makes it as least as reliable as
their liquid fuel stove -- probably more so.Although I have never had the
problem Montedodge indicates it is a possibility. Another possibility is that
the valve in a particular butane canister gets finacy. {My "cost is no object"
solution is two (2) titanium stoves}
