Snowpack

I'm concerned about the snow pack in the Seirras and Washington.  I know in
Washington we are weel above the average and the Seirras seems to be
following suit.  If one leaves in mid-April (I was planning on 4/26), will
the Californian mountains be doable?  This will not be a year to by-pass
them and go to Washington.

Also, what do people know about PBFCs?  I'm behind on my prep work!
