Thanks for the information on Muir Trail Ranch.
A ripoff is relative. I have camped on the river and bathed in the Hot
Spring and am still asking for reservations at Muir Trail Ranch.

If you are planning to leave the PCT for a hot spring this is NOT the one.
Kern Hot Springs is infinitely better.
