For your information the BLM is closing the PCT between Chariot Canyon Road
and
Rodriguez Canyon Road May 1 - 15 for a prescribed burn. The burn itself
will
take only a day or two within this period but they want it closed for a week
before and after. Hikers and riders will have to leave the PCT and go north
along Chariot Canyon Road to Banner, then along HWY 78 to Scissors Crossing.
Bummer, eh? Just when a lot of hikers will be going by there.
