[pct-l] Temperatures are predicted to be higher than average in California

To add to the mix:

The National Weather Service has predicted that the temperatures in California will be higher than average for the months of April, May, and June in their latest Seasonal Outlook. If this actually happens, snow in the Sierra would melt faster than average. They state this is due to a La Nina pattern that has developed in the Pacific Ocean.
