[pct-l] hitching out of towns
I also feel that you are giving an opportunity for someone to do something
that makes them feel good. Which in turn gives them "ownership" of helping
in the adventure you are on. In all the best adventure myths, there is
always the "helper"; without the helper's small act or piece of the puzzle,
the puzzle or journey can't be completed.
And it teaches them about the PCT and what it stands for.
After all, if they don't want to say yes, you can't squeeze them and make
them do it.
You can also consider Yogi's way, which is also mine, as the act of "putting
it out to the universe" by making people aware, and then waiting for the
universe to answer, sometimes in the form of a beer soaked farmer, sometimes
a charming young man.
