[pct-l] Canister Fuel Sizes

We have used the smaller canisters on our hikes. When preparing for the ADT
we couldn't find enough small canisters and bought several large ones. The
good thing about the larger canister is that they are considerably cheaper
per ounce of gas. A down side is the large canister weighs more. At some
point you will be carrying 2 of these canisters (one empty and one being
used).

I don't know the total weight of 2 empty canisters, but it can't be too
much. Of course 2 small canisters weigh about the same as 1 large canister.

Good Evening Fellow PCT'ers:

I have been trying to decide between buying 4 oz isobutane canisters or 8
oz canisters for the PCT.

For those who have experience this: What would you choose?

A big plus side to the 8 oz is that you do not have to ship as many of
them, thus having less of a chance of a re-supply box not arriving because
it was shipped ground only.
