Subject: [pct-l] SuperSecrets - Water and Containers

I used them for about 5 years. I had no problems with them but I tried to
never take them apart and when I did I was very careful putting them back
together. Do not, under any circumstances, unscrew the filter element from
the filter body. First there is no reason to, and second the fitting at the
bottom cross threads and breaks very easily.

I never could decide if they actually work as a filter. I don't filter most
of the time, anymore.

after reading the reviews here: http://www.backpackgeartest.org/seychelle/

It seems like the "trick" to making this thing work is to not take it apart
(ever).

Does anyone on list have any real world experience with this filter?
