years ago I led trips for the Sierra Singles in the San Francisco Bay 
Area. I also served on the chapter Outings committee. I got some 
complaints about lack of trips or not the right kind of trips. My 
response was: trips go where the leader wants to go when the leader 
wants to go. and if you con't like it then get qualified and lead trips 
you like.

and if you don't like what is posted here --- 1. use your delete key. 
2. post what you do like.
that said, I accept the need for some control to at least keep the posts 
to topics of interest to list members.
