[pct-l] old VWs (was: shoes)

The downfall of the old VWs was regulation. My '78 convertible has a fuel
injector that is great when it works and a pain in the wallet to repair when
it doesn't. 

It does make a great tow car to set up my own shuttles for section hikes on
the PCT, though, cruising Kennedy Meadows with the top down.(See, I kept
this on topic <g>.)
