I would guess that either your wife spoils you rotten by not sending you to
the grocery store, or it's a vast spousal conspiracy to keep you the heck
away from the convenience food shelves.  Apparently you are not in the
lunatic-fringe group ... and I don't want to be too specific about
membership .... who spend rainy lunch hours wandering the supermarket aisles
looking for anything new, interesting, durable, tasty, and cheap that can
be adapted to the food sack.

I am  staring at a bunch of small bags of mostly chopped nuts for cooking.
