Thats easy to explain.
At 49 years of age and living in the UK I and my family get full goverenment
medical care at no cost. My brother who is two years younger than myself and
living in Illinois pays over $700 a month for family medical cover. Gas may
cost nearly $7 a gallon but the high level of tax on fuel provides the
medical for free.
Personally I would rather see the UK as the 51st state rather than a part of
Europe, as long as we can hang onto our excellent health service thanks :-)
Back on topic. Who cares wether its 2,600 miles or 4,200 kilometeres, just
get out and walk.
