Hi Monte:

You can catch "The Breeze" bus at PDX that goes to Bend and get off at the 
rest area near government camp.  You can find the Breeze bus line on the 
web.  I don't have the website with me.  It's $40 one way from PDX to Bend - 
you can e-mail them...
