[pct-l] Rumors



Good evening, Gayle,

I have not heard of a stream crossing fatality since a hiker perished
crossing the Sandy River on Mt. Hood about a year ago.  At that time the
river was in flood, a situation your son most certainly will not face this
summer.  In fact, the only wet feet your son will likely experience will as
the result of dew on the grass in some meadow.
