[pct-l] california's gold - tehachapi wind farm

hi all-

maybe someone has mentioned this before, but i just caught the episode 
of california's gold where huell howser takes a tour of the wind farm 
near tehachapi- the same farm that the pct passes thru. most folks that 
hike this section tend to be impressed with how huge those wind turbines 
actually are when you see them close up, and that's emphasized in this 
show as well. the cool thing is that they actually climb up to the top 
of one of the really huge ones, and the sense of vertigo and the power 
of the blades is really quite intense, even just seeing it on tv.

anyway! anyone in california should keep an eye out for this episode on 
your local pbs channel... as for folks outside ca, you can get a copy here:
