I was planning to hike from Tuolomne Meadows to Mt Whitney Starting
July 12 or 13 over 16 or 17 Days. Anyone know if this is even possible
with present snow conditions. If snow shoes, in step crapons and ice
are brought along will they be helpful. Is anyone interested in going
or have plans to start out at near that time. Leaving Seattle July 11

is for discussion of all things related to the PCT, planning for
thru-hikes or section-hikes, trail-threats, trail maintenance, horse
riding, llama packing, anything having to do with the PCT.

This list has TWO RULES: 1) Don't Flame - a flame is a personal attack
against a person. Don't post them 2) Keep On Topic - Your post should
relate to the PCT in some way

Commercial posts for products or services that relate to the PCT are
allowed within reason, other commercial posts are not allowed. Do not
send chain letters of any form, including virus warnings, charity
requests, petitions, jokes, lucky charms or other warnings. Do not
forward posts from another list. If you want to share a website,
please send the URL, do not repost the content.

Please remember to snip! Don't quote any more of a post in your reply
than necessary. The optimum is not to quote anything at all except a
line or two to put your comment in perspective. DO NOT post "I agree"
notes to the list.

Take "private" jokes, conversations, etc. off line. Do not post
anything which is of interest to only one person, to the list address.
Send it to them directly.
