[pct-l] missing hiker

As a former policeman, I would like to suggest that since published results 
to date have not turned up any sign of the man or his gear, it is quite 
possible that he could have made it safely all the way to I-10. From there, 
he would hitch a ride into town to get his supply box in Cabezon. If that 
hitch somehow went tragically wrong................ all the well-meaning 
searchers would be looking in the wrong place.
