huh? I really don't understand your question.
Most hikers just shop at grocery stores in the
trail towns they pass through. In my opinion,
mail drops are not needed, except for a few
resort locations where it is tough to purchase
trail food.

Hi,
This is my second attempt to post this question, I hope you all can read it.
I'd like to arrange food drops for my thru hike in '06 to be from the
local regions that I pass through. In so doing I hope to reduce fuel inputs
for transportation in order to supply my own fuel inputs, and establish a
network available to future PCT hikers to do the same.
Has a network like this been created? I'd rather not re-invent the wheel,
but will if needed. I could also use support and help on this network
creation if it doesn't already exist.
Cheers!
Justin
