"The giant cement water tank looked wonderful after using or reserves so
sparingly the night before. Another gentleman sitting on top of the water
tank greeted us and informed us that we needed to filter or treat this water
because he had washed his feet in it. Needless to say, this did not go over
well with us thirsty hikers. We expressed our disapproval with this sort of
behavior, but he did not seem to see any problem with it."
