Yes Becki,
I'm the one. I hadn't seen it mentioned. Unfortunaely, the parks (Crater Lake, for example doesn't have anything). I hadn't seen any thing in these discussions so thought it might of interest to other people, especially if they would share some experiences. However Paul Magnanti may have the solution for the PCT planning stage -http://www.thechurchfinder.com/home.asp- which I haven't tried yet.
Your idea is a good one to.
Thanks,

Hi, I think you're the one asking about churches near the PCT...
I don't have any info for you, but have you considered downloading some sermons, Bible lessons & your preferred music to an MP3 player to be able to worship right on the trail whenever you want? Of course all the evidence of God's creation will surround you at all times.
I saw an ad in World magazine recently about a preloaded iPod from Ligonier Ministries (R.C. Sproul) with "teaching series, sermons, interviews, music, and selections from other great audio resources")...more info at ligonier.org.
I'm just not sure you will be able to get off-trail and find transport very often to attend church...but then....we ARE the church :-)
