[pct-l] Silverwood Lake is Open

Restaurant?  how did I miss that?  I've hung out at 
the picnic area, but I don't remember a restaurant.  
Is the restaurant near the PCT?  How 'bout the store, 
is that near the PCT, too?

Silverwood Lake Recreational Area, between Big bear City and Wrightwood, is open and the PCT is ready for hikers. The park has a PCT campsite, water, and restrooms. The Marina restaurant will be open for thru-hikers by late April. See http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=650 for details. 

There was a lot of confusion in '04 about the PCT and the Silverwood Lake area. It was severely damaged by fire earlier in 2004 and some thought the PCT was closed in this area (it wasn't).
