[pct-l] NOBO start date and the ADZ

So, some people are saying start the NOBO hike in mid-May...would you still go to the kick-off party in April? If you were to start as planned in April at Campo, is there some nice place to wait the snow out along the way? How serious is all this talk about doing SOBO or starting NOBO late? (I am trying to plan and honestly, would love a few more weeks, but only if it will work.) Thank you!
