[BULK] - Re: [pct-l] trail libations revisited



Doesn't mean it's a good idea. Once, in my young 20's, when I was young,
dumb, and full of... energy, I had the brilliant idea of packing a gallon
jug of Black Butte Porter in to Canyon Creek Meadows at the base of Three
Fingered Jack. Somewhere along the hike I noticed the backs of my leg felt
wet. I stopped and investigated, only to find that a large part of the
gallon had found it's way out of the jug. Most of it was absorbed very
effectively by my down sleeping bag. 15 years later, my friends still won't
let me live that one down.
