I've been getting lots of complaints lately from Hotmail users unable to 
post to the list

If you use Internet Explorer and Hotmail, your messages will probably come 
to the list server as pure HTML with no PLAIN TEXT part.

For security reasons the list manager deletes all parts of messages except 
PLAIN TEXT. This means Hotmail messages may NOT get to the list.

You must change your Hotmail settings to fix this. It is very easy to do
