Au contraire... I find the silk long johns make it extremely easy to move  
about inside the bag.  Being slightly claustrophobic, it makes all the  
difference in the world.  Your other observations are all true... and  further, they 
are fairly cheap...compared to Capilene or other synthetics.   $30 gets a top 
and bottom from Campmor or Sierra Trading Post.
