[pct-l] Trail snacks



Has anyone had success making fod bars for themselves?  If so are there any recipes you would reccommend?  I was thinking of making something out of crushed cheerios.  The Cheerios are very nutritious and light but they are exceedingly bulky.  I would guess that by crushing them and making them into a food bar one might circumvent this problem.  Any ideas?
