[pct-l] Go Lite Spped Pack

I've used a Go Lite Speed on various hikes in the San Gabriels, on the PCT
Sect. A border to Lake Morena, Sect. C Little Bear to I15, Sect. D from I15
to Soledad Cyn. Rd., on Bishop Pass trail, and on JMT from Red's Meadow to
Whitney . Have been off-trail in some thick growth . Several times scraped
the pack hard enough on brush & trees to expect silnylon would be gouged or
ripped, but neither has occurred. The codura bottom seems plenty robust.
Heaviest load has been 30 lbs., with bear canister. It rides comfortably
with light or heavy loads, WITH the addition of two strips of ground pad
foam under the hip belt to pad my unpadded pelvis front points, and a frame
sheet in the bladder pocket (made from foam poster-board). Other users
have written that the hip belt pockets are useless. I've found them very
useful, for retrieving and replacing a small container of sunscreen, lip
balm, and headnet while hiking. The helmet holder seems useless for
anything other than a helmet. The website recommends a 'medium' for spine
length measurement of 18-20 inches. My length is just under 20 inches, and
I found the medium size bordered on too short, and got a 'large', which is
fine.
