Oddly enough, I found the reverse... using AT&T. There were few places that
I did not have coverage. That is, on ridges. Down in the river canyons,
forget it. From Ebbetts Pass to Ashland, I found a very few days where there
was not adequately connection sometime. Beware the American Roaming Network,
which insinuates its coverage in various nooks and crannies. For only $2.95
to connect and $1.95 a minute they will be your friend. In emergency this is
fine... if you're gonna call mom and tell her where you are ( I ran into
that on the shoulder of Bucksnort Mountain and again on Apache Peak), I hope
she's worth it.
