[pct-l] BIG SNOW/Problems for 2005 PCT hikers.

It really is way, way too soon to worry about the snow in the Sierra. It could be an early, hot spring and the snow will melt rapidly. I wouldn't start thinking about the snow until April. However, it is very easy to slow down in SoCal, since it is so pretty and so many people have problems with the heat. Or, if it is a big problem, consider skipping the KOP and starting later in the spring, say in early or mid May. Go to the KOP for kicks, but start later.
