[pct-l] BIG SNOW/Problems for 2005 PCT hikers.



I agree.  With all the goofy weather happening these days, I certainly 
wouldn't count out the possibility of a warm spring with early melt-off 
and swollen/flooding rivers and streams.

Additionally, the snow is the least of the thru-hikers latest 
problems.  Now they have to deal with shorter days and less hiking time 
too.  NASA just came out with areport that says that the earthquake 
that cuased the Tsunami has also caused the Earth to spin faster and 
thus has shortened and Earth day by 2.68 miliseconds.  lol.  very
