[pct-l]Another Fish Story with a recipe.

Thru-hiked to Independence. Saw too many fish before I got there. Bought
an ultralight packrod in Bishop. 2 lb. test, #20 treble hooks and
Powerbait. No graceful angling, I wanted to eat. We ate Brookies before
we even reached the trail. The next few days I fished, ate fish, but found
I didn't hike as much.

A few years ago I saw my first Golden Trout just below New Army Pass (Just
off the PCT near Mt Langly and Mt Whitney). Got the itch. Had to catch
one.
This year got one mixed in with some Rainbows just south of Muir Pass.
Threw it in the Fire that night, took a bite, SPIT IT OUT. Next chance I
got I shipped the rod home. The Golden Trout obsession is gone.

Two cups instant white rice
