Hey
Have any of you ever encountered outfitters leaving their pack stock return
loose to their Stables in the High Sierras. There will be a lead horse
rounding up the others and driving then along the trail. Now what do you do when
about a dozen horses are running right at you or from the back at full speed.
This is usually at twilight but you can see the white of the horses eyes and
the fogging of their breath as they pass. This would be a great video shot. I
believe they are politer then the cow hands. My question would be what happens
on a narrow trail?
I absolutely did nothing. They all went around me. With the leader keeping
then close to the trail.
