[pct-l] hiking and climbing gear

Hello All,
I'll be traveling the PCT (Kennedy Meadows to South
Tahao) in June and will be passing some awesome
climbing areas ie Yosemite... I've never backpacked
with climbing gear before. I may be going solo. The
questions:
1.) What to carry... what not to carry?
2.) Should I carry climbing gear at all? Have it sent
by mail?
