[pct-l] Hot springs near Muir Trail Ranch

I took a lot at them this past September. At that time, the river was an ankle
deep ford and, given that the temps were in the 80s, I wasn't tempted to sit in
the hot springs. What I saw was a hole in the ground, about 8'x8' surrounded
with some small logs and hot water bubbling up in it. Hiking out after my
resupply, I noticed a sign that had been "amended": over "hot spring" someone
had carved "warm puddle". Seemed to sum it up nicely.

You can camp on the springs side of the river, but I didn't feel the sites
were worth getting my feet wet--there are very good sites on the trail-side of
the river which is where I ultimately camped.

If you stay at the ranch, apparently there are springs there that are available,
but they're not open to non-guests.
