[pct-l] el nino this fall / winter / spring

Hey there PCT list;

I was watching the news last night (San Diego local station), and the
weatherman said that mild El Ninio effects should be present over the
next 5-6 months, but they're not sure yet how powerful it will be.
More rainfall / snowfall throughout the South West; not sure how much
farther north it extends or whatever.

I just thought I'd put this out there. It's too early to speculate,
and who knows what will happen, but if even mild El Ninio stuff moves
in, it will result in much wetter conditions (both in rainfall and
snowmelt) come spring.

Any people more experienced in weather or metereology out there?
