[pct-l] Section Hikers Unite!

After browsing for several months now, decided that getting the section hikers together might be a good idea.  Many of us can't take off from work or be away from family/friends/school, etc. for that length of time but are equally committed and adament about hiking the entire length of the trail.  Also, it appears that there are many of us who would like to hike with others but take on solo hikes because we 1) don't want to get STUCK "out there" with someone we just can't hike with, or 2) just feel uncomfortable about jumping into a hike with someone we barely know.  Also, with section hikes there is the problem of coordinating time frames, sections, etc. with another person.  I think the solution to this is to connect as many people as possible and organize small groups of hikers with similar pace and personality.  I am collecting a list of section hikers and would appreciate any information you are willing to give as far as your abilities, pace, preferences, etc.  I would like to
 connect hikers who live close enough to take a few hikes together before they make a commitment to join up on the Trail.
 
Anyway, this is just a suggestion that welcomes ideas and thoughts from anyone who has comments.
