[pct-l] Swollen Feet

If you do not want to worry too much about blisters and swollen feet, then wear hiking sandals. I currently use Bite hiking sandals. I sugguest you wear medium weight hiking socks, so your feet do not dry out too much on very long hikes. You could develop a callus or cracked foot skin if you do not protect your feet with socks and skin cream. Also, the socks protect your feet a little more against rocks and sticks. Though this is not a big problem if you are careful. Also, you need to train in sandals to strenghen your ankles. Sandals are great! Happy trails, Switchback
