I hiked that section last weekend and current water reports are at

I can't say for sure what will still be flowing in early July, but would
think you're most likely sources are:

Joshua Tree Spring (note guidebook comment about water quality)
2nd crossing of Spanish Needle Creek (possibly)
Chimney Creek Campground
South Fork Kern River
