I heard hitch-hiking in NV is illegal....is this true?

yes and no. yes it`s illegal ,but not enforced. if you hitch in nevada, or california for that matter, most of the time the only thing that will happen is they will check your i.d. ive hitched up and down california and other places across the country many times, and have never been cited or detained.
