[pct-l] Ride help needed

Hello all, I need some help with a ride from Reno
south on hwy 395 to Kennedy Meadows.  My girlfriend is
thru-hiking and I am trying to meet up with her on her
birthday to do the JMT section.  I fly into Reno on
the 12th of June.  Unfortunately, Inyo Transit doesn't
run on weekends.  I am hoping that somebody out there
is heading that direction.

I heard hitch-hiking in NV is illegal....is this true?
