[pct-l] JMT South hiking trip

Greetings listers:

I'll be hiking the JMT south this year starting in Bishop (North Lake) and
hiking up and over Pauite Pass down to the JMT and evolution Valley, over
Muir Pass and South to Mt. Whitney this year. Departing June 16 or
thereabouts, this hike is a little over 100 miles and involves about 25,000
ft. of elevation gain and 25,000 ft. of loss by the time Whitney Portal is
reached. I'll be taking about 7 - 8 days to complete the hike, hiking btwx
12-20+ miles a day, walking light (around 20 lbs. pack) and fast, and
fishing along the way. I'm posting my plans with the hopes someone of
similar style and personality (36 years old architectural type, rock n
roller and mountain biker heh) would either be hiking a similar hike and
would want to car shuttle, or I can offer a ride/share gas and shuttle via
my motorcycle (you'd cool your heels at whitney portal for a couple hours
while I returned on my dropped off cycle to North Lake to pick up the truck)
from San Diego. Drop me an email if you're interested in getting in on this
hike. I usually hike solo / am offering up this plan as none of my friends
are into high mileages and extended light weight trips.

Hike on !!!
