In  late May, 2003 , I talked with a custodial person who was standing 
around.  Neenach School closed its doors to students, due to declining population, 
in 2000.  In 2002, when I hiked through the Mojave the first time, I was able 
to get water at Neenach without climbing the fence because a small gate was 
open.  All of the hose bibs were without handles, but one of the two drinking 
fountains around the back of the school was on... Don't count on it.
