[pct-l] O.T. Digital Cameras and Thru-Hikes

No answers, just questions to think about.

1200 pictures is a lot, but we took that many with our film camera on the
PCT. I would have taken quite lots more if the camera had been digital!

Unloading a card through USB at a library is more difficult than it sounds.
Will a library let you unload 1 Gbyte to their hard drive? Then what do you
do with the pictures from their hard drive. Don't try emailing that home!

You may also want to think about how many pictures you want on one card at a
time. If the card goes bad (and they do) how many pictures do you want to
lose?

If you want to see some of our pictures, both film and digital, come to REI
Saratoga, CA tonight for our Triple Crown slide show. Time is from 7 to 9
pm.
