Peter,

No one has provided updates to the water report yet this season, so the old one is the best to go by for now.  There are some sources on there that are more permanent.  There were some section hikers that came through, and I hope that they will be calling with an update, but until then, the old report stand. Bear Springs in Section E is pretty reliable year round, although it can become a trickle late in the season.  While we  had a fair amount of rain early on, it's been a while.  Typically in spring there are numerous streams running in E.  However, the strong Santa Ana condition that we're having right now really dries things out.   Not sure if anyone is stocking their caches yet, since it's still early for thru traffic.  

Please take along the report you find, and let me know what you find.  Yours may be the first report of the season.
