How easy will it be to thumb a ride mid-week from KM to Onyx (or as far as Bakersfield) on or near 4/21?  Is there any scheduled transit? Buses? Taxis?  Rickshaws?  Will anyone be hiking in this section and offer a lift in exchange for gas, or food, or maybe wash your dog?
