[pct-l] Using Old books



This reminds me of our experience at Tehachapi. For some reason we didn't
get our maps in our re-supply box. We mentioned this to the local trail
angel. He said he had a copy of the California PCT Guide and we were welcome
to it. When we looked at the book we realized it was many years out of date.
In his guide the PCT was still following the aqueduct.

Fortunately Mercury was in town. We got to photocopy his torn out pages and
made it thru to Kennedy Meadows okay.
