There was a story I heard about someone who was bringing several cases of 
beer down into the Grand Canyon to resupply a raft trip. He had the luck of 
running into a ranger who informed him that wheeled vehicles were illegal in 
wilderness areas and so he had to --- you guessed it --- haul all that beer back up 
several thousand feet to the rim. You would think an exception could be made 
once in a while: Miller Lite no, microbrews, yes
