Howdy listers,
I apologize in advance if this has already been posted.  The New Balance 
806AT is now on sale at Big 5 for $49.99.  The best price I'd been able 
to find up until this was $59.99 at Shoes Online.  I remember the 805's 
were popular on this list.  I have a pair of 806's and like them. 
Stability is good, not bad on rock penetration, and there is a positive 
heel (i.e. the heel is raised).  I need the positive heel due to 
achilles/calf problems.  I've used these for running and hiking on 
desert trails, and find them excellent.  No experience in rain or mud. 
Also, I have no idea on longevity as mine are only 1 1/2 months old.
