[pct-l] What pack weight?



Why wind pants?

My wife loved the extremely light weight, uncoated, compressible, nylon
pants and top she made. Said it was the most useful piece of clothing she
had. It was based on Ray Jardine's writings. Others I have talked to who had
them, also raved about them. Kept out mosquitoes, was just enough to wear
when it was a little cool, when there was wind, etc. I think they weighed
only a few ounces.

I never had them and went either with bare legs or Frogg Toggs. That worked
for me, but ....
