[pct-l] Black Diamond Shelter
I have used this (without a floor).
Good points: 2 lbs. and a helluva lotta room; easy set up
Bad points: nothing to keep bugs out- I've heard of some people installing a
foot-wide skirt of mesh to the bottom to take care of this, but I haven't-
If anyone can give advice on how to do this, btw, I'd be eager to hear it...
As for the attachable floor, it seems as if that would make it airtight and
would result in a lot of condensation...

Has anyone used the Black Diamond Betamid, which uses treking poles?
With or without the floor attachment? Would be interested in how this
performed as a shelter on the PCT. Hiker/Biker
